The world of fashion and modelling just got a whole lot more exciting for kids and teens in Australia! The Australian Golden Sash Academy (AGSA) held its very first Masterclass Bootcamp for 2025, an amazing event where young models got to learn from some of the biggest names in the industry. This special bootcamp took place at Spark Studios, and it was a weekend full of fun, learning, and unforgettable moments!
Meet the Superstars Behind the Masterclass
The lucky participants were mentored by Pedro Virgil, one of the world’s top fashion photographers. You might know him as a judge and photographer on Caribbean’s Next Top Model or as a guest photographer on Australia’s Next Top Model and Project Runway Australia! Pedro has worked with famous magazines and big-name brands all over the world, and at this bootcamp, he shared his expert tips on how to pose like a pro and shine in front of the camera.
Another incredible mentor was Joanne Nicholas, a superstar in the modelling world! With a career spanning two decades, Joanne has walked for major fashion brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, and Victoria’s Secret. She has also modelled for Westpac Bank, Sony, Max Mara, and Maybelline! Joanne taught the young models all about runway confidence, styling, and how to own the stage with elegance and grace.
Also joining the event was Sheridan Mortlock, who was crowned Miss Earth Air 2022! She shared her experiences as a beauty queen and model, giving the kids and teens valuable lessons on confidence, public speaking, and how to shine with personality and purpose.
The Stars of Tomorrow
The AGSA Masterclass Bootcamp was filled with some of Australia’s most promising young models. These talented kids and teens included Paisley, Harriet, Grace, Rosalie, Poppy, Charli, Miley, Sienna-Grace, Olivia, Arabella, and Georgia. Each of them has been working hard in the modelling industry and are now finalists in the Dreams to Reality Runway competition. But that’s not all—these young stars will also grace the cover of the latest issue of Sassy & Co magazine!
The Big Moment: The 2025 Australian Golden Sash Awards
As if being part of a prestigious magazine cover wasn’t exciting enough, these talented young models will also be strutting their stuff on the grand stage at the 2025 Australian Golden Sash Awards at Hilton Sydney. This is one of the biggest fashion and pageant events in the country, where the best of the best gather to celebrate talent and beauty in all forms.
A Bright Future Ahead
With guidance from some of the best mentors in the fashion and modelling industry, these young models have taken a huge step forward in their careers. They are now ready to take on bigger challenges, walk more runways, and appear in more magazines!
The AGSA Masterclass Bootcamp was an unforgettable experience, and it has truly inspired these kids and teens to follow their dreams and never stop believing in themselves. Who knows? The next top supermodel could be one of them!
