It’s Official: Disney and Pixar’s Coco 2 is Coming!

Get ready to return to the Land of the Dead because Disney and Pixar have officially announced Coco 2! The exciting news was shared by Disney CEO Bob Iger during The Walt Disney Company’s annual meeting of shareholders.

“While the film is just in the initial stages, we know it will be full of humour, heart, and adventure,” said Iger. “And we can’t wait to share more soon.”

A Beloved Story Continues

Coco 2 will bring back the talented team behind the original film, including Oscar®-winning director Lee Unkrich (Coco, Toy Story 3) and co-director Adrian Molina (Coco). Mark Nielsen (Toy Story 4, Inside Out 2) is set to produce the film.

Fans first fell in love with Coco in 2017, following the journey of Miguel, a 12-year-old who dreams of becoming a musician despite his family’s ban on music. His adventure led him to the colourful Land of the Dead, where he uncovered his family’s true history. The film won two Academy Awards, including Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for Remember Me. It also received a Golden Globe®, a BAFTA, and Critics’ Choice Awards.

What’s Next for Miguel?

Although Pixar hasn’t revealed the plot yet, fans are eager to see what’s in store for Miguel and his family. Will we see more of the Land of the Dead? Will Miguel continue his musical journey? Only time will tell!

Three incredible young stars are making waves in the modelling world, and they’re all part of the AGSA Academy – a special talent program created through an exciting collaboration between Dreams to Reality Runway, StarCentral Magazine, MS Entertainment Network and TV6.

Recently, TV6 got the chance to chat with Paisley Elizabeth Sullivan, Arabella Raptis and Charli Palmer — three bright young girls proving that you’re never too young to follow your dreams. Let’s meet them!

Paisley Elizabeth Sullivan – Tiny Model, Big Dreams

At just three years old, Paisley Elizabeth Sullivan is already a record-breaker! She’s officially the youngest international model to walk the runway at Fashion Week 2024, and she totally rocked it.

Paisley’s modelling career started when she was only two, and she’s already been featured in magazine photoshoots, TV appearances, and even landed the cover story for MS Entertainment Magazine. Talk about impressive!

What makes Paisley so special? It’s her confidence, creativity and fearless attitude on the runway. Whether she’s dressed in glamorous gowns or showing off fun, colourful outfits, Paisley knows how to own the catwalk.

When Charli’s not posing for photos or strutting her stuff, she loves dancing, swimming, and spending time with her family and Quickster, her playful pup.

Premiering on Disney+ on February 19, this exciting show takes you right into the middle of a championship softball game. But here’s the twist—it’s not just about the players. There are so many facets to playing sports that I love—it can bring out the best and worst of a person, the calmest person can lose their temper. And when it comes to winning and losing—the consequences are nothing, and yet, they’re everything. We really felt like it was the best arena for the themes we loved.”

According to Yates, the idea of spotlighting different perspectives was born of everyday life at Pixar. “Carrie and I were officemates on ‘Toy Story 4,’” he said. “We were both story artists on the film, and we would talk about a lot of things going on in the film, as well as things going on in the world—current events, news. We would always have different reactions or different interpretations of the same meeting. One of us would say, ‘That went great!’ and the other would say, ‘No! It was terrible, what are you talking about?’ We realised that our own experiences that we bring to the table change our perception of an event. We wanted to tell a story that illustrated all of that.”

Pixar’s First-Ever Original Series “Win or Lose” Hits Disney+ on February 19

Launching on Disney+ February 19, Pixar Animation Studios’ first-ever original series “Win or Lose” features the intertwined stories of eight different characters as they each prepare for their big championship softball game—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, even a lovesick umpire. The world of fashion and modelling just got a whole lot more exciting for kids and teens in Australia! The Australian Golden Sash Academy (AGSA) held its very first Masterclass Bootcamp for 2025, an amazing event where young models got to learn from some of the biggest names in the industry. This special bootcamp took place at Spark Studios, and it was a weekend full of fun, learning, and unforgettable moments!

Meet the Superstars Behind the Masterclass

The lucky participants were mentored by Pedro Virgil, one of the world’s top fashion photographers. You might know him as a judge and photographer on Caribbean’s Next Top Model or as a guest photographer on Australia’s Next Top Model and Project Runway Australia! Pedro has worked with famous magazines and big-name brands all over the world, and at this bootcamp, he shared his expert tips on how to pose like a pro and shine in front of the camera.

Another incredible mentor was Joanne Nicholas, a superstar in the modelling world! With a career spanning two decades, Joanne has walked for major fashion brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, and Victoria’s Secret. She has also modelled for Westpac Bank, Sony, Max Mara, and Maybelline! Joanne taught the young models all about runway confidence, styling, and how to own the stage with elegance and grace.

Also joining the event was Sheridan Mortlock, who was crowned Miss Earth Air 2022! She shared her experiences as a beauty queen and model, giving the kids and teens valuable lessons on confidence, public speaking, and how to shine with personality and purpose.

The Stars of Tomorrow

The AGSA Masterclass Bootcamp was filled with some of Australia’s most promising young models. These talented kids and teens included Paisley, Harriet, Grace, Rosalie, Poppy, Charli, Miley, Sienna-Grace, Olivia, Arabella, and Georgia. Each of them has been working hard in the modelling industry and are now finalists in the Dreams to Reality Runway competition. But that’s not all—these young stars will also grace the cover of the latest issue of Sassy & Co magazine!
